Baybay & Baybee: Week 119 (11/13-11/19)

119 weeks old!

Friday morning, while snuggling in bed, I asked the girls: "Did you have any dreams last night? What did you dream about?" Ella: "I dream about cookies!" Maya: "I dream about nipples!" (as she snuggles right back down to nurse.)

We're all a little sick. It's not too bad, but the runny nose and cough, combined with the tired and not sleeping well, make for some cranky people. Brett and I have also been going down to our Springfield property a lot this week to do work, which always takes energy out of us.

"The calm before the storm" is what I like to call this photo...

Looks like they're playing nicely together, doesn't it? Well, not as such. Trains and tracks are starting to be a lot of fun for the girls, but so far this activity hasn't lasted more than a few minutes before one girl wants to take the tracks apart, while the other wants to drive the trains (or some such similar situation) resulting in tears.

Outside fun.

It's hard to wait your turn.

Selena visited on Monday and Brett got everyone outside to plant garlic in our new garden. Later in the week, Selena came to see us again and we all made a blueberry pie!

We got a book in the mail from Mama and Papa this week! The Blueberry Pie Elf was a favorite story of mine when I was young. Last week, while my parents were here, we reminisced about a bunch of the books we used to read when I was little. I'm so happy to have this book to share with Maya and Ella. We've only had it a few days, but it has already become a favorite.
